Its been a while since we sent our last email, and we have been hard at work, preparing for the fall, winter and beyond.
In that spirit, we are proud to announce the arrival of our darling new bus.
Her name is Beeatrice, and she is a beauty.  She was born the same year as our band 2002-2003, and we are so pleased that she has joined the Natural Breakdown family.

We will be taking her on her maiden voyage this week to SNOW RIDGE JAM FEST.

We will also be raising money on SEPTEMBER 25th, to convert her to run on SVO (straight veggie oil, or waste oil from cooking).

We will post pictures and tales from her adventures (her name means Voyager in Latin) on a brand new feature called Bee’s Blog

We here at Natural Breakdown would like to wish you A Happy Summer filled with good times and grace…

The solstice is traditionally a time of great shifts and healing,  and we are undergoing a shift this year for sure.

We have alluded to big news in the past few emails, and now, at this most auspicious time of year, when there is THE MOST LIGHT…. we are finally ready to share….

Natural Breakdown is pleased to welcome a new member to the Band!!!

We put the word out a few months back that we were looking for a kindred spirit to share in our adventure, and sure enough, through the amazing organizing power of the Universe…. and through the close connection to our good friends at Wandering Root and to our wonderful community at large…..We are grateful and fortunate to be welcoming Chris Duddy into the Natural Breakdown family….. He sings and plays guitar, keyboard, mandolin, and a host of other instruments, and we are psyched to have him aboard.  He is an amazing presence and light,  and his energy and spirit is infectious.

In the wake of this new addition, we are also announcing that Dan Farella will be departing the musical end of Natural Breakdown……but will very much still be a part of the family and healing work that will continue…

Dan has been pulled over the last few years to his shamanic and yoga practices, and most recently has entered Herbalist school, and the Tom Brown Tracker School. These are major commitments, as is Natural Breakdown, and in the long run he felt that he had to choose.

Dan helped build this band from the ground up and has been instrumental in everything we have done over the last seven years.  We started the band together, and shared a common vision both musically, and for the larger community…..and for all the service that can be done through music and community….  Dan has given an huge amount of time and energy over the last seven years, and we are extremely grateful and blessed to have had him for this long.

People come together for a time, and people’s lives go in different directions.  We are thankful for the space to have worked everything out so that everyone is happy and is doing what they are called to be doing…. and sure enough…..in that SPIRIT…. here we are……. and we’re ready to roll……

We have some great festivals booked for the summer, and we are going to woodshed together to bring you a new sound and lots of great music in the upcoming months…..  We are looking forward to recording a Live Album in the Fall and we are hard at work with the help or our great friend and new manager Chrissie Reyes booking a full load of gigs in the Fall, Winter (Look out West-Coast!) and beyond……

In that spirit…. Seven Years after our first gig… we are ready to make another bold step outward….

Natural Breakdown is looking to expand our line-up and add to our collective sound and vision…

We are looking to add members to the band… Guitar, fiddle, horns, percussion, singers… anyone with spirit and soul.  We are looking for musicians who share our vibe and vision and who are into spreading healing light in the world through music.  We have had an amazing 7 years so far, and we are looking forward to many more incredible times together… The winds of change are blowing through, and we are adding some new energy to the mix.

This month is ideal for healing body heart and soul….From the new moon (april 14th) till the next new moon (may 14th)… is a time of detoxification, purification, and refinement of one’s character traits.  As spring begins to emerge more fully, we also begin to bring ourselves to a new order, a new alignment.  This month is a time of letting go of what does not support one’s well-being- and for opening up to what does support one’s well being…..
