Is trying to save ourselves

As we grow, we're destroying everything

I lost my job, and just started a job,
and I give to my churches twice a year,
Now's not a good time,
I 'm on a fixed income,
I really don't understand why you're here...
Don't waste your time, leave me alone,
I can't afford it, My husband ain't home.....

Frankly I just don't care....
 
See the problem is
People don't believe,
that they can change the world...
So they close their eyes
And they can't see
Past the bonds of the family....
 
And I ask myself
Why am I doing this
All the weight that there is to bear
I search inside
Let my ego slide
Throw my fist into the air.....
 
WELL......
Here I come tryin to spread the light
Tryin to shake things up,
Tryin to make things right
There are some who see, and some who can't
There are some who fear, and some who rant
But buried deep beneath the flow
I water seeds of change wherever I go.....

We're ALL KNOWING
What we're doing, where we're going
