I still remember when the vision came to me
It took me over on a lesser day
The ground it seemed a million miles below me
I clung to rock with all that i could bear
The wind did all it could to carry me away
Cloud cover turned all a hazy grey
I knew I had no choice but to surrender
I'd lost myself to everything I feared

And then I heard this whispered voice inside of me
At first I didn't know it was my own
And just as I'd succumb to all my misery
The cliff began to vibrate and the voice inside me said

I tried to get a sense of how I'd gotten here
And how much of my Self was left to save
I left exposed my deepest insecurities
The jagged rock demanded that I bleed
The wind relentlessly beat down my self esteem
The doubt it carried with it made me cold
I knew that i would always end up all alone
I didn't think I'd ever make it home

And once again I heard that voice inside of me
Too frightened to believe I was its source
And as the cliffside tried to rid itself of me
I closed my eyes and dug my heels
And focused on my words, to
