The Wave One day I caught the wave And surely I was swept up in the fever, Didn't notice it was neither good or bad And what we had Was really very little so we set out in the middle of the night And then we tried, denied high tide And had to wait until the storm blew in, And picked up what we had packed in and then we sailed And saw whale tails, ahead of us came crashing cut through water, Foreshadowing our lives And we cried..... Forty days, of haze and waves And not a trace of any other people just the sun and salty air But then a cloud of round wound sound, surrounded us And opened up the sky and Gave a fierce an mighty cry "Why have you come?" "What is it that can be done?" And so we gathered up our voices Made the choice no turning back and we replied Its time, time , time, So many people feel the vibe They pick it up and come alive. So there we were, we all took turns And teetered in the ocean getting louder As we pleaded with the cloud To spare our lives Its time, time, time He said that mother earth was fed up and the people had to go Yeah had to go But "oh no " We said "Its coming, we are waking" "Can't you see that we are taking back the world!" "So don't give up on the world!" And with that water turned to sky Our humble boat began to fly.
